These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Dormie mobile application ("App") operated by Brad Mortimore ("we", "our", or "us"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

Apple End User License Agreement (EULA)

For the App downloaded through Apple's App Store, your license to use the App is governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).

These Terms supplement Apple's Standard EULA with terms for your Dormie account, purchases, and use of Dormie's services. If these Terms conflict with Apple's Standard EULA regarding your license to the App, Apple's Standard EULA controls.

Use of the App

Dormie is a golf scoring and tournament management app. You may use the App to:

  • Score golf rounds and tournaments
  • Create and manage tournaments
  • Invite other players to join your tournaments
  • View leaderboards, recaps, and statistics

You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose and in compliance with all applicable laws.

Accounts

You must create an account to use the App. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Free Features and Tournament Purchases

Dormie offers free player access, a one-time Tournament Pass, and an auto-renewable subscription called Commissioner Pro Annual (shown in the App as "Commissioner Pro").

  • Free player access: Players can join activated tournaments, enter scores, and view live leaderboards and statistics without buying a pass or subscription. Quick Rounds are free for one round with up to four players. Creating and configuring draft tournaments is also free.
  • Tournament Pass: A one-time in-app purchase activates one complete tournament for up to 24 players and six rounds, including available formats, teams, courses, side games, live scoring, leaderboards, and statistics. The purchase covers the entire tournament within those limits, with no additional per-player or per-round charges. It does not renew automatically. Once activated, that tournament remains activated and can continue to be edited without a subscription. Activating another tournament requires another pass or an active Commissioner Pro subscription.
  • Commissioner Pro Annual: An auto-renewable subscription allows the subscriber to activate unlimited tournaments during each 12-month subscription period. Each tournament supports up to 24 players and six rounds and includes the same tournament features as a Tournament Pass. Players join and participate free. Tournaments activated while the subscription is active remain activated and editable after it expires; activating additional tournaments then requires a Tournament Pass or an active subscription.

Pricing, Billing, and Subscription Management

Pricing: The App and Apple's purchase confirmation show the price before you buy. Tournament Pass is charged once per purchase. Commissioner Pro Annual is billed for the full 12-month period at purchase and at each renewal. Prices may vary by country or region.

Payment: Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.

Automatic renewal: Commissioner Pro Annual automatically renews for another 12 months unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your Apple Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends at the applicable renewal price.

Cancellation: You can manage or cancel Commissioner Pro Annual in your Apple subscription settings or through Manage Subscription on the App's Profile screen. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the current paid subscription period. Deleting the App or your Dormie account does not cancel your Apple subscription. Tournament Pass has no recurring subscription to cancel.

Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies.

User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in the App, including tournament data, scores, and profile information. By using the App, you grant us a license to store, display, and transmit your content as necessary to provide the App's features.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with other users' enjoyment of the App
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Golf scores and statistics displayed in the App are for recreational purposes only and should not be used for official handicap calculations unless verified through an authorized handicap service.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App's Profile screen.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
